Fresh fruit and vegetables such as blueberries, blackberries, cherries, mangoes, oranges, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, grapefruit, apples, spinach, tomatoes, fennel, bell peppers and carrots are great for removing toxins, provide many essential nutrients, and are low in fat. Eggs, cheese and milk are good choices for getting protein. Fish and seafood also are also good sources of protein and give you omega fatty acids that are great for your skin. When you eat meat, eat only lean meats and remove the excess fat. One thing that is usually overlooked to reduce cellulite is drinking plenty of water. Avoid any foods that are going to cause you to gain weight such as cake, greasy pizza, potato chips and processed meats. These foods will make your cellulite bulges even bigger. With less oxygen, the fat deposits on the surface of the skin that cause cellulite will be harder to burn and shrink in size.

Because there are many causes of cellulite, improving your diet alone may not completely cure it. As a general approach to curing cellulite, you should basically live as healthily as possible. This of course includes having a healthy diet and avoiding unhealthy things such as cigarettes, alcohol and fattening foods, but also includes doing things like exercising to keep the muscles toned and the fat trimmed. Beyond that, there are some fairly safe treatments out there such as massage and laser therapy, but these alternatives are expensive and provide only temporary results.
