Causes

    Cut down your intake of processed foods and refined carbohydrates, since these contribute to excess fat production. Avoid drinking soda as the caffeine turns out more toxins that get easily caught in fatty tissue. It is important to drink plenty of water throughout the day to flush such toxins from the body. The Institute of Medicine recommends that women drink approximately 3.7 liters of water per day.

    Mix more raw fruits, fresh vegetables, lean meats and whole grains into your diet. Boosting meals with additional protein and fiber help to restore muscles and stimulate metabolism. Red cabbages, onion, spinach and carrots are all good cellulite-busting options. A successful cellulite-fighting meal plan should include foods rich in bioflavonoids such as cabbage and citrus fruits like grapefruit and tomatoes. Antioxidant packed choices such as green tea or blueberries are extremely beneficial in stimulating blood flow to the cells and strengthening capillaries to increase the rate at which your body can break down fatty tissue.
