How to Reduce Stretch Marks on the Buttocks

For most sufferers, stretch marks are a cause of humiliation due to their unsightly appearance. Pregnant women, body builders, and people who have lost or gained a significant amount of weight in a relatively short time are all at risk for developing stretch marks all over their bodies including the buttocks. Treatments range from home remedies involving lotions and creams to more advanced surgical procedures.

Instructions

Rub cocoa butter lotion onto your buttocks every day. Cocoa butter is a natural remedy for stretch marks. With regular use, you will notice the stretch marks on your buttocks becoming lighter and less noticeable. Massage the lotion deep into affected areas twice a day.

Massage a combination of vitamin E oil and fish oil onto your buttocks. Purchase a few capsules of vitamin E and fish oil, poke a hole and drain out the oil, and then stir to blend the two oils together. The moisturizing properties of these oils fade the stretch marks. Rub the oils into your buttocks twice a day, in the morning and before bed.

Exfoliate your buttocks at least three times a week. Exfoliation is an effective remedy for reducing stretch marks on the buttocks because it slowly yet surely removes the damaged layers to reveal smooth, healthy skin. Use a gentle body scrub with small microbeads for best results.

Get a dermabrasion treatment. This is a surgical procedure that involves removing the uppermost layers of the skin and essentially getting rid of the damaged aspects including stretch marks and any other scars or blemishes. Special instruments are used to freeze then sand off the stretch-marked skin. This procedure must be done by a surgeon in a dermatologist or physician's office.

Combine two tablespoons of avocado oil with ten drops of chamomile essential oil. Chamomile is a natural skin lightener that will fade out the scars, while avocado oil is highly moisturizing and will assist in repairing the damaged tissue. Apply to the stretch marks on the buttocks at least once a day.
