How to Firm Your Thighs & Butt

Firming your thigh and butt area is a common goal of people who exercise. The leg, thigh, and butt areas are trouble spots for many people, because the body stores fat in those places. The fat can appear as lumpy cellulite if there is no muscle in those areas. An effective way to firm up the thighs and butt is to lose fat and tone the muscles in those body parts through a sensible, healthy diet, and a dedicated workout regime.

    Incorporate cardio exercise into your training plan. Running is a very effective way to tone the thighs and the butt because the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteal muscles are all engaged and working while you run. Also, biking is another effective exercise. Not only will these exercises work the muscles in your legs and butt to firm up, they will burn calories and help you burn off fat in general.
