How to Burn Facial Fat

The face is one of the most important aspects of your outward appearance. It is the first thing people notice when they see you. An over-accumulation of facial fat may make you self conscious about your appearance. Pudgy cheeks and a double chin could simply be a product of "baby fat" deposits around your face, or you may be overweight and a disproportionate amount of fat has accumulated in this area. Regardless, there are only two proven methods to naturally burn facial fat away: diet and exercise.

    Calculate your daily caloric intake. A quick and effective equation is to multiply your body weight by 10, ie (200 lbs. X 10 = 2000 kCal). That result is roughly the number of calories you should eat per day if you want to lose weight.

    Chew gum throughout the day. This will work your facial muscles constantly to tone them and possibly reduce facial fat. Make sure the gum is sugar-free.

    Practice smiling in the mirror. This may reduce fat in your cheeks, and result in a more shapely face.

    Apply cellulite cream around your chin area. This may reduce superficial fat under the skin.
