Set to slower speeds (higher resistance), steps will be more difficult. If you are new to the Lateral Thigh Trainer, you should set it to a high speed.

    Step onto the Lateral Thigh Trainer one foot at a time. Do not put your second foot on until the first one has completely depressed its pedal.

    Begin stepping slowly, making sure to stay balanced.

    Slowly increase to your desired speed, and maintain it for the duration of your workout.
