Adobe Photoshop has become an industry standard for graphic and photo editing, largely based on the range of capabilities it has for users from novice to professional. One of the basic functions of the program is being able to add text to a graphic or photograph. Text management then becomes a fundamental skill for beginner Photoshop users.
Instructions

Launch Photoshop and select File>Open to locate the image from which you would like to remove text. Click "Open" in the bottom right-hand corner of the dialogue box when you have located your file.
2Select Window>Layers if the Layers palette is not already shown in the palette selection to the right of your canvas. Click on the Layers palette tab to access its options.
3Locate the layer on your image containing the text you want to remove. Text layers have a capital T on the thumbnail to the left of the layers title in the palette. Shift+Click on additional text layers if you want to remove multiple text elements from ther layout.
4Click on the layer title of the text layer and drag it down to the trashcan icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the Layers palette.
5Select File>Save or type Ctrl+S (Command+S for Mac users) to save your image with the text removed.
