How to Reduce Cellulite Through Diet

Cellulite is an uneven deposit of body fat that distorts the appearance of the skin, making it look dimpled and lumpy. It generally affects the hips, abdomen, buttocks and thighs. Women are usually more prone to having cellulite than men. Medically, cellulite is not a health threat to the body, but aesthetically, it can be unattractive and a source of humiliation for the sufferer. The key to reducing cellulite through diet is limiting the intake of foods high in fat, and maintaining a healthier diet full of servings of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and fish.

Sugar becomes converted to fat in the body, thus contributing to making cellulite worse. Water promotes healthy body cells and helps to detoxify the body, reducing fat cells and cellulite.
