How to Create Herbal Body Wraps

Body wraps are used in many spas for treatments such as cellulite reduction, muscle aches and relaxation. While going to a spa is a great escape, it is also costly to go continuous times a month. Re-creating body wraps at home can be a cost-effective and simple way to keep up the results you receive from a spa, without breaking the bank.

Instructions

Fill the large pot with the herbs of your choice. Pour 1/2 gallon of boiling water over the herbs and cover for at least 5 minutes.

Remove herbs from the water after it is finished steeping. The easiest way to do this is to use a strainer and remove the herbs from the top of the water. Add the cotton strips into the hot water and let soak for another 5 minutes.

Exfoliate the body before applying the body wrap. Then, lay the plastic drop cloth over the area where you will apply the body wrap to avoid messy spills. Recline on a chair or bed once the entire body has been wrapped. Fold the remaining part of the drop cloth around the body and top of with a blanket. Relax with the body wrap on for 15 to 20 minutes, and then begin to unwrap.
