How to Reduce Cellulite & Tighten the Skin

Many people, including 90 percent of women, have cellulite. It comes from reduced blood flow to the area in which it is stored, hormones, poor diet and inactivity. With simple changes in your lifestyle, such as your diet, the amount and type of exercise you get and by investing in quality skin care creams, you can reduce and even eliminate cellulite, get tighter skin and feel better about your overall appearance.

    Eat healthier. Cellulite is partially caused by an unhealthy diet. To combat, reduce and prevent cellulite and get tighter, toned skin, rid your diet of all processed foods, such as those containing chemicals, artificial ingredients, refined sugars and bleached flours. Replace those foods with whole foods, such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats.

    Exercise. Because cellulite is partially caused by poor circulation and lack of blood flow to the areas affected, incorporate more activity into your lifestyle. Get cardiovascular activity every day, such walking, running, stair climbing or using an elliptical machine.
