Instructions

Pour 16 oz. of water in a glass measuring cup.
2Place eight black tea bags into the water, and allow them to remain in the water for at least one hour.
3Remove the tea bags, and pour 7 oz. of lye into the tea water.
4Put a thermometer into the lye water. The water will heat up due to the chemical reaction between the lye and the water.
5Pour 48 oz. of olive oil into a pot. Heat the oil over medium heat.
6Put a thermometer into the oil, and watch for the temperature to read 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
7Heat the lye water until the temperature reads 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
8Pour the lye water into the oil.
9Stir the mixture for 30 minutes; this will cause the mixture to thicken to a pudding consistency.
10Pour the caffeine soap mixture into soap molds, and place the molds into a cool, dark room for eight weeks to cure and harden.
11Pop the caffeine soaps out of the molds, and refrigerate until use.
